POSTPONED: Transition Risk and the Green Innovation: Strategies for Low-Carbon Transformation in Emerging Economies

  • Alison Richard Building (Sidgwick Site) 7 West Road CB3 9DP United Kingdom (map)

POSTPONED: Shuya Zhang (Judge Business School, University of Cambridge) will be presenting her joint work on Transition Risk and the Green Innovation: Strategies for Low-Carbon Transformation in Emerging Economies.

The weekly climaTRACES Reading Group is attended by a diverse group of people from economics, geography, politics, engineering, business, earth sciences, natural sciences, and history, generating interdisciplinary discussion.

It covers the following themes:

  • Nature & Biodiversity

  • Green & Sustainable Finance

  • Communication, Communities & Societies

  • Economic Policy & Markets

One person leads the session, on either a paper they have written, a work in progress, or just an idea they have and would like feedback on. They would start off the session by presenting their paper/work in progess/idea, focusing on findings and intuition (for around 15 minutes), and then we open it up to the floor for questions and comments. We do not use any slides (although people will have printed the paper and made notes, or made notes on their iPad/computer) and the set-up and interactions are very informal (we all sit around the room on sofas) and discuss the work that has been presented.

This is also an opportunity for people to find our more about the team on what climaTRACES have been up to and what future events and research projects are being developed.
