Official Launch of the climaTRACES Lab

  • King's College King's Parade CB2 1ST (map)

Join us for the official launch of the Cambridge climaTRACES Lab at King’s College, Cambridge, followed by Conversations at King’s where Al Gore, former Vice President of the United States of America, is in conversation with Gillian Tett, Provost of King's College.

In the video below (at 12:06) Al Gore asks whether any University actually works on the formation of political will when it comes to climate change and sustainability (doubting there is any University doing this work as they all work on technological solutions to the climate crisis), to which Gillian Tett answers that we have just launched a new initiative (climaTRACES Lab), an interdisciplinary research initiative, which will do that!

At the climaTRACES lab we collaborate with a network of climate and nature experts globally, conducting cutting edge research for wider societal benefit, and creating and testing innovative policy communications formats that translate the evidence and multidisciplinary research generated by the lab for policy and industry audiences.
